Making it happenWe worked in partnership with The South West Ambulance Service to develop an iPad application that would work in a pressured and demanding environment.
The app is used by busy ambulance crews to access key documents on the move. Working from a central database, crews can call up every procedure, ensuring that they have the information they need at a crucial moment.
OutcomeThe project was rolled out over a 12 month period, with user testing in the field providing essential feedback which helped to improve and refine the app.
The app has proved to be an invaluable tool and has now become a core part of The South West Ambulance Service.
Making it happenOvo, now the second-largest energy supplier in the UK, worked with MyOxygen/ to design and develop a mobile application that supported the roll-out of the SMET2 to domestic properties. The application allows engineers to run through a commissioning process with validation on the government portal BOL. MyOxygen/ also supported API integration and handover to the internal dev team.
OutcomeThe delivered software solution enabled the commissioning of smart meters and resulted in a significant reduction of time in the SMET2 installation process.
MyOxygen/ created a user-centric mobile application for engineers to rapidly carry out a meter commission.
Making it happenBabcock approached MyOxygen/ to help them develop an app, for the Royal Navy, which would allow the crew on T23 frigates to create damage and audit reports. The reports, in turn, would then be synchronised to a database which would then push out work orders to engineers.
The app required all the usual form-filling functionality, in a way that would be quick and easy for engineers to use in cramped areas of the ship, perfect for use on a tablet.
OutcomeThe solution we developed created a 45% reduction in time taken to collate data.
MyOxygen/ continue to push boundaries within technology and software delivery.
Making it happenHospitals often experience issues with parking, with so many visitors and staff coming and going at all hours.
CAME Parkare were able to collect information on occupancy levels in each of the Royal Derby Hospital car parks and commissioned us to create an app that would allow visitors to find out which car park was the best to head for out of those available.
OutcomeThe app also provides useful information about charges for parking and where drop off bays or disabled parking is located. For those visitors who may instead be arriving by taxi or bus there are also useful links to websites that can help them plan their journey.
Making it happenGlobal taps and shower manufacturer Kohler Mira appointed MyOxygen/ to help bring mobile connectivity and IoT to their successful Mira Mode domestic bath and shower range. They are innovative and easy-to-use with advanced features presented through a simple and intuitive mobile app interface. One of the best features is, for example, the ability to remotely warm-up the shower first thing in the morning.
OutcomeThe project rolled out over a 12 month period, with user testing in the field providing essential feedback which has helped improve and refine the app. Our process ensured that the app was ready for customers when Mode went to market with sales and interest in the product exceeding expectations.
